INVESTOR ANALYST

We are building a talented team to offer creative solutions based on the latest technological innovations and trends. As part of that effort, we are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated individual to join our Investment team.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • This role will require working closely with portfolio managers to generate investment ideas, structuring and implementing trades and monitoring the current portfolio. An ideal candidate should have excellent work ethic, strong analytical as well as problem-solving skills, complemented with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset

  • Basic responsibilities will include the analysis of unique data sets for use in investment management as well as forecasting and building tools to facilitate this analysis

 Key Responsibilities & Qualities

  • Conceptualize, design and test predictive statistical models

  • Review and analyse performance of new and existing strategies

  • Perform data-mining from unconventional data sources and build unique trading signals

  • Monitor daily risks, trading system and positions in the portfolio

  • Work jointly with portfolio managers, technology and operations team

  • Manage confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner

  • Attention to detail with logical thought process, superior time management and organizational skills;

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate both within and across teams, to effectively communicate research ideas, concepts, and progress

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage project related risks and issues

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage and coordinate multiple streams of work simultaneously and effectively resolve issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery

  • Passion for financial and crypto market investing

Experience & Technical Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience within investor relations, sales & marketing, or business development roles within the financial industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a strong collaborative mindset

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage through ambiguity and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is required

  • Proficient MS office skills particularly Excel and Powerpoint skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience or an understanding of NFTs, blockchain technology or cryptocurrency

​

Working visa sponsorship and relocation allowance will be provided for non-Hong Kong candidates.
