Animoca Brands signs NASCAR Champion Joey Logano as REVV Motorsport global brand ambassador
7 July 2021 -- HONG KONG -- Animoca Brands is pleased to announce the appointment of professional NASCAR driver Joey Logano as global brand ambassador for the REVV Motorsport ecosystem, which currently includes the blockchain games F1® Delta Time, MotoGP™ Ignition, and upcoming titles Formula E: High Voltage and an original REVV racing game.
Joey Logano will promote REVV Motorsports games and their NFTs in person and via videos featuring him in a REVV-branded driver suit and car, conducting media meet-and-greet sessions, performing virtual live streams, providing autographed products, and more. Animoca Brands will create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on Joey Logano, including his driver helmet and logo, iconic racing moments, and special car liveries.
Joey Logano, nicknamed “Sliced Bread”, is the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion and a 27-time Cup winner. Logano won a series-high six races in 2015, including the biggest event of the season, the Daytona 500. He is one of only four drivers to win 25 NASCAR Cup Series races before the age of 30, and the youngest winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series history (18 years and 21 days) and in the NASCAR Cup Series history (19 years and 35 days). Logano is currently a frontrunner competing in his 13th NASCAR Cup Series season, driving the No. 22 Ford Mustang for Team Penske.
Last year, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Joey Logano Foundation partnered with Elevation Outreach on a US$1 million disaster relief fund to provide supplies and meals to kids and young adults impacted by the national shutdown.

Unlike most digital content, which is temporarily provided to users on a licensing basis, NFTs are truly ownable by their holders - just like physical collectibles. These characteristics of NFTs allow them to attain significant value as game assets and digital collectibles.
NFTs are owned by their holders regardless of any decisions taken by any other party, including their developers.
