Arc8 partners with Planet IX for special Web3 event
Arc8’s latest Takeover event gives players rewards of Planet IX Arcades, Starter Packs and IXT tokens
14 March 2023 – GAMEE, a blockchain arcade gaming subsidiary of Animoca Brands, today announced its latest partnership in conjunction with Planet IX, the leading game on the Polygon chain. Players will compete across the core 13 games in GAMEE’s Arc8 app to earn IXT tokens, Planet IX Arcade NFTs, and Starter Packs in sponsored tournaments (16-23 March 2023).
Rewards are distributed based on leaderboard rankings. There are two tournament types in which players can earn rewards: the Run! tournament and the Token Takeover Across Arc8 games.
Run! Tournament
Players compete in a free-to-enter 7-day sponsored Run! tournament between March 16-23. Rewards include 20 Arcade NFTs for the top 20 players and 2,000 Starter packs for the top 2,000 players.
Players must have their on-chain wallet connected and paired with Arc8 at app.gamee.com to qualify for the Arcade and Starter Pack rewards. Arcade NFTs will be airdropped directly to the winners’ wallets, and Starter Pack rewards can be claimed after the event here.
Token Takeover Across Arc8
Players can earn up to US$2,000 in IXT tokens by playing any of Arc8’s 13 core games. IXT-sponsored tournaments will run in all regular games in Arc8. The tournament entry fee will be in Arc8’s native GMEE token.
