GAMEE launches ‘Beasties’ NFT characters for its popular Arc8 platform

The Animoca Brands subsidiary launches Beasties to bridge gap between Web2 and Web3 gaming, champion true digital ownership in mobile gaming

12 September 2023 – GAMEE, the arcade gaming subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has launched Beasties in its popular Arc8 gaming app. Beasties are utility-providing in-app game companions in Arc8 that players can optionally mint into one-of-a-kind NFTs at no cost, advancing GAMEE's mission to promote genuine digital ownership for all gamers.

As part of GAMEE’s mission to introduce the opportunities of decentralized gaming to traditional mobile gamers, all Arc8 players will receive an in-game egg that hatches to reveal  their own Beastie, which can be upgraded with food earned by winning games. 


As players progress, they can upgrade their Beasties into more powerful versions by converting them into NFTs. These NFTs are unique digital collectibles of different rarities that offer in-game benefits such as increased energy to allow players to obtain higher scores. Furthermore, players may harness the power of additional Beasties to mine Luck, which grants access to special Lucky Events that offer various prizes.
