Animoca Brands, Standard Chartered Bank, and Hong Kong Telecom have established a joint venture to participate in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority stablecoin issuer sandbox.
The joint venture aims to be among one of the first issuers to pioneer this market in the region, exploring how stablecoins can enhance financial markets and payments by bridging Web3 and traditional finance, strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a global digital assets hub.

NUVA is an upcoming RWA vault marketplace designed to connect issuers and investors in new ways, bringing innovative, institutional-quality financial products to everyone, everywhere.
Developed by Animoca Brands and ProvLabs on Provenance Blockchain, NUVA will debut with Figure Technologies’ on-chain assets, including nuYLDS, a vault referencing the SEC-registered yield-bearing stablecoin, and nuHELOCs, a vault referencing assets backed by over US$12B in home-equity lines of credit (HELOCs).
More tokenized products are planned for future release.
