The Sandbox and Nuclear Blast partner to build ‘Blast Valley’, a heavy metal-themed metaverse experience

 

Players will enjoy the atmosphere of a heavy metal festival, encounter demons, complete quests around a magic erupting volcano, and attend premiere virtual concerts
 

15 June 2023 - The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, announced today a partnership with Nuclear Blast, an independent record label, to bring the music and culture of heavy metal into the metaverse with Blast Valley, a dedicated environment designed by heavy metal fans, for heavy metal fans. Nuclear Blast has solidified its position at the forefront of the heavy metal scene globally and will utilize its influence to promote and host virtual events in The Sandbox.

Blast Valley will feature initial quests that involve players reclaiming the power of heavy music embodied by the magical volcano at the center of Blast Valley, and uniting all creatures living in the land in a band to perform on stage.
