The Sandbox and TOEI ANIMATION, one of Japan's leading animation companies, partner for LAND production with Minto

Hong Kong – 16 February 2023 – The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and TOEI ANIMATION CO., LTD., one of Japan’s leading animation companies, today announced a partnership to create experiences based on TOEI ANIMATION intellectual properties on LANDs (*1) in The Sandbox Web3 gaming metaverse. The companies are developing the LANDs in collaboration with Minto, Inc.
(*1) LANDs are parcels in the virtual space of the virtual world The Sandbox.

A pioneer of Japanese animation, TOEI ANIMATION has produced some of Japan's largest, longest running and globally successful animation productions, including Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, and ONE PIECE.

 

By partnering with TOEI ANIMATION, The Sandbox continues pushing forward with collaborations based on the most popular and influential characters and content from Japanese animation culture alongside other partnerships with apparel and brands from around the world. 

 

The Sandbox will bring TOEI ANIMATION’s world to life  through multiple experiences on its LAND.
