9 November 2023 - The Sandbox, the leading decentralized virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has officially announced the Cinerama LAND Sale, a unique opportunity for LAND owners of The Sandbox to bring their film ideas to life alongside the industry’s greatest brands.
The Cinerama LAND Sale, for which registrations are now open, provides a chance for participants to create their own immersive movie-inspired universes, promising an extraordinary creative and social experience. Participants in the sale will have access to a substantial number of options, including 414 Regular LANDs and 73 Premium LANDs, ensuring a diverse range of choices. The sale also features auctions for six Estates, which are sets of contiguous LAND parcels on the map, increasing the opportunities for prospective buyers to purchase a parcel in the movie-themed neighborhood.

After the raffle, waitlisted users will have the chance to purchase remaining plots on a first-come, first-served basis for one day. Additionally, for the first time ever, auctions will be available on both OpenSea and GBM, providing more opportunities for participation and the acquisition of LAND.
