F1® Delta Time raises 51 wETH (~US$6,300) for Australia bushfire relief and recovery efforts with “Australia Edition 2020” NFT auction
23 March 2020: Animoca Brands announces that the non-profit charity auction in F1® Delta Time, held to raise funds for Australia’s bushfire recovery efforts, has successfully ended on 22 March 2020. The F1® Delta Time unique non-fungible token (NFT) “Australia Edition 2020” race car was auctioned for 51 wrapped ether (wETH), or approximately US$6,300 / A$11,000. All wETH has been sent to Finder and HiveEx for conversion into Australian dollars. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will be split evenly between the NSW Rural Fire Service Association, WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.), and Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund in order to assist relief and recovery efforts after the catastrophic bushfires that began in June 2019.
