Animoca Brands not associated with “Taowar”
26 October 2021 -- Animoca Brands today issued an alert concerning the NFT based game named “Taowar”. Animoca Brands has no connection to Taowar.
On 25 October 2021, the Twitter account @Smart_NFT_News tweeted the false claim that Taowar is a “Play-to-earn gaming platform, initiative by developer and publisher #AnimocaBrands”. One hour later that tweet was retweeted by the official @TaowarNFT account.
The claim in these tweets is false, as Animoca Brands is not associated in any way with the game Taowar or the Twitter accounts @TaowarNFT and @NFT_Smart_news.
