Animoca Brands Puts Your Math Skills to the Test With Brain Training Puzzle Game, “Summa!”

Highly-addictive tile puzzle game now available on Apple App Store℠

Hong Kong – October 21, 2014 – Get ready to give your brain a serious workout. Animoca Brands, the developer and publisher of mobile games based on globally loved brands such as Garfield, Ben10, Doraemon, Ultraman, Astro Boy and more, announced today the global release of its new math-based brain training game, Summa. Now available for download on the Apple App Store, Summa is a free-to-play puzzle game that challenges players to solve math equations embedded on a tiled board. A version for Android is coming soon.

“Summa is particularly fun and addictive because it includes strong elements of simplicity and challenge,” said Robby Yung, CEO of Animoca Brands. “It is an ideal game not just for math and puzzle enthusiasts but also anyone who wants to keep a sharp mind.”

Featuring a familiar finger-swiping mechanic that makes gameplay simple and accessible for everyone, Summa tasks players with completing mind-bending puzzles that challenge their focus, reflexes and arithmetic skills through three different game types. In “Numbers,” players must link adjacent tiles to add up to match a target sum as many times as they can before the clock ticks down. In the “Moves” game, players have a limited number of moves to try link any combination of numbers, with the last number being the sum of the preceding numbers. Finally, in the “Time” game players race against time to create sums that are a multiple of the target number.

Key features found in Summa include:

  • 3 Difficulty Levels: the game is suitable for players of any caliber.

  • 3 Game Types: “Numbers”, “Moves” and “Time”

  • Leaderboards: Rank up points and see how you compare against your friends and other players worldwide on the Summa Leaderboard.

  • Player vs. Player Action: Compete against friends in turn-based player vs. player action.

  • Assistant Mode: Play in Assistant Mode for a little help in calculating numbers.

Availability:

Summa can be downloaded for free from the App Store for all iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices at https://itunes.apple.com/app/summa!/id909220745. A version of Summa for Android is coming soon.
