Legendary comedy duo plants roots in the metaverse platform, bringing counterculture experiences and their NFT project
HONG KONG – April 20, 2022 – The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming metaverse and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and My Homies by Cheech & Chong announced today a partnership that will bring the essence of the duo’s more than 50 years of commercial and cultural success to The Sandbox’s blockchain-based virtual platform. The famed duo’s iconic vehicles, looks, counterculture, psychedelic props, and, most definitely, cannabis will be voxelized and transported to a dedicated Cheech & Chong LAND for visitors to experience, man.
